Dr. Christopher Blake suffered for three years as a young boy with missing upper teeth and needed care from an orthodontist and oral surgeon to guide his adult teeth into place. The kind attention from his dental team made such a difference in his life that he gained great respect and interest for the dental profession. Cosmetic and implant dentistry now gives Dr. Blake a tremendous sense of accomplishment each time he helps someone set their smile free.
Dr. Blake earned his doctorate in 1978 from Marquette University School of Dentistry, is certified in conscious sedation, and has taken advanced training with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Milwaukee Dental Study Club.
Healthcare Philosophy
Because of his own experience as a child, Dr. Blake understands that there are many reasons for you to be embarrassed about the form and function of your smile. His priority is to help you as he was helped so you can properly chew and digest the healthy and nutritious foods that support your health.
Personal Life
Dr. Blake is very involved with the Oakwood Christian Church and volunteers at the Lake Area Free Dental Clinic. He has competitively raced catamaran sail boats and competed in cross country ski marathons since 1980. He also enjoys beekeeping and raising chickens for fresh eggs.

A personal message from Dr. Blake
“The first thing I say to my patients who want to hide their smiles is they are not alone. You are not alone. I’ve been there and the years I spent without front teeth as a young boy and being bullied as I moved through 4 different schools gave me something for which I will always be grateful... The compassion, understanding, and drive to help others who are still living with missing or broken teeth, so you can chew properly. My passion for restorative and cosmetic dentistry supports your desire for a healthy, confidence-inspiring smile.”

Every partnership begins with a good story, and this one starts in 1978 when Dr. Blake was sitting down to dinner and met his server Kara – two years later the couple were wed and the rest is history. Kara and Dr. Blake have an adult daughter Audra, who is the apple of their eye. Today, Kara’s is the smiling face that greets you when you visit and answers your insurance and treatment questions. When she is not providing great service to our family of patients, Kara loves to garden and cook, and has recently taken up quilting and beekeeping!

Away from the practice, Sandy enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin and their son Joshua, making pasties from a secret family recipe, and caring for the family dogs, J.T. and Ringo.
